I just came back from my trip to the manufacturer in Cambodia. And while I was there I came across some saddening news about the fashion industry.

There was a report released that states fashion brands are not transparent enough on social and environmental policies. Many of the biggest fashion brands are not transparent about the circumstances the employees work in and the impact their supply chain has on the environment. None of the fashion brands scored higher than 50% in the report conducted by the non-profit organisation Fashion Revolution.

You would say that a few years after the disaster of the building that collapsed in Bangladesh where 1,135 workers died it would be a wake up call for the fashion industry to make a change.

Honest-Rosie is working hard to be the
positive change in the fashion industry! Every fashion brand should have fair trade circumstances, sustainability and eco consciousness as a number one priority. These are our key values! Our supply chain is fully transparent, it’s traceable and all employees are paid living wages, work in good conditions and receive free health care when needed.

To let you all see whose making your clothing, here's a video of the employees in Cambodia. As for the production: everything is all set! Next week the production starts for the custumers through Kickstarter and soon after that the production for the stores and our webshop will start. We’ll of course keep you updated.

As for all the Dutch people: Have an amazing Kings day!
